Laura Jo has been an artist forever, at least she thinks that way. She paints with pastels and her work is all about her many evolving passions. Currently her interest is animals and Oregon mustang horses. The shapes and colors of flowers also intrigue her.
“The special feature of being an artist is creating something new and original about subjects that have meaning to you as a person. Colors, shapes, textures and all the variations in your painting are always unique. Painting is a visual communication from the one artist to an audience. I like my images to say something for me and so I remember this when I paint.”
